About Us
|
Reidt's motel was started by my father, Cyril G Reidt, sixty years ago when he recognized the need for
lodging to accommodate workers building the first Dairyland Power Plant in Alma. He started out with one cabin and eventually added additional units. In the beginning, he used his car as his office as he lived two miles away.
In 1955, Cyril married my mother Delores. Together they ran the motel until his death in 1977. Delores ran the motel until 2007, when due to declining health, Tammy (daughter) took over the business.
I am not new to the business, having been born and raised here and being a part of the daily operations for many years. It is my privilege to currently be hosting third generation customers. At Reidt's Motel, we are continuously updating to make your stay a pleasant experience.
If you decide to visit our area we would love to have you as our guest.
Thank You,
Tammy Reidt
